Dear friend of ACLEA,

Please consider this as your invitation to participate in the FIRE XVI Online Auction to be held April 7 through April 11, 2021. While building on our rich history of supporting Christ centered educational opportunities in Adams County, we have changed the format for 2021. In order to protect the health of our generous donors, the ACLEA board is temporarily replacing our annual gala event with an online auction event. Though we cannot have our traditional gala, the need for funding for our schools is more important than ever. For our patrons that, in the past, have faithfully purchased individual tickets or sponsored corporate tables, may we humbly suggest a cash donation at one of the sponsorship levels printed on the enclosed 2021 pledge form. Along with our heartfelt thanks, sponsorships will be recognized in our newsletter and on the powerpoint presentation at the Open House events, as well as on our website and Facebook page, We prayerfully invite you to once again help us with our mission of educating children for eternity.

We recognize some of you may not feel comfortable participating in an online event, but may still want to support our mission. May we suggest making a tax deductible cash donation to ACLEA by filling out the enclosed form and returning it to ACLEA – PO Box 2122, Hastings, NE 68902 by March 15, 2021.

Ruhter Auction will be conducting the FIRE XVI auction, again this year.  The online only auction will use the, well known HiBid auction platform. To register for a bidding number, or to view the auction items, go to https://www.ruhterauctiononline.com/listings/auctions/1123-aclea-fire-xvi-auction-2021 , obtaining a bidding number does entail registering a credit card when you sign up, but if you would prefer, prearrangements can be made to pay for your items with cash or check during item pick up on Monday, April 12th.

Please note; Due to space limitations, we will have fewer auction items to facilitate this online format. The ACLEA Board is searching for items including some unique, one-of-a-kind auction items to benefit Christ Lutheran School & Zion Classical Academy. If you would like to donate such an item, or would like to make a donation towards the purchase of an exciting item please complete and return the enclosed donation form as soon as possible. In order to successfully present our first online auction, the absolute deadline for donating auction items is Monday, March 15, 2021. For more details about how to donate items, the procurement committee contacts are listed on the reverse side of this letter.

Though we will not be having a gala event, we will have an Open House Friday, April 9, 2021 & Saturday, April 10, 2021 at the Ruhter Auction Building, 2837 West Hwy 6, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm each night. During the open house you will be able to view the auction items. ACLEA will be continuing our tradition of featuring a drawing for a distinctive ladies and men’s gift item. As always, there will a limited number of gift boxes, offered at $50.00 each, payable by cash or check, only at the Open House. As always, it will be first come first served. The winners of the raffle will be revealed near the end of the auction on Sunday, April 11th.

*The auction will open at 5:00 pm, Wednesday, April 7th. Closing will begin at 8:00 pm on Sunday, April 11th. Pick up of all auction items will be at the Ruhter Auction building Monday, April 12, 2021; from 12 Noon through 7:00 pm. Volunteers will be available to assist winning bidders in collecting their items.
